Supplies Exchange
Thursday, October 29- 4:00 to 6:00 pm
Friday, October 30 -7:00 am to 3:15 pm
Franklin will hold another Supplies Exchange this next week on Thursday and Friday during the times listed above. If these times do not work for you, please do not hesitate to call the office to arrange another time. These exchanges are very important in order for us to get books back from you so that we can process them and get them out to other students.
NEW PROCEDURES: For your safety and the safety of our staff, we have modified the exchange process. Please read the information below so that you know what to do when you come to school.
DIRECTIONS: Pull up single file to the front of school and park at the curb in the circle drive. Get out of your car and drop off any supplies/books you are returning in the appropriate grade level bin. Show a paper with the name and teacher of the student to the staff working through the front entrance window. The staff will then bring your supplies out to you at the door; please wait outside (not in your car) for them to deliver your child's things. Always remember to stay 6 feet apart and wear a mask. Thank you for your cooperation.
Virtual Halloween Days
Please join your teachers next week for some Halloween Fun Dress Up Days listed below for Monday, October 26 to Friday, October 30
Picture Days - Cancelled
Picture Days at Franklin for November have been cancelled indefinitely. We will work with Network Photography to schedule new dates if we go back to an A/B Model of learning.
Art, Music, and Phy-Ed
Thank you to all of the students who have been logging on to participate in Virtual Physical Education class. We have been learning and having a great time! There are still many students who have yet to show up to any virtual classes. Art, Music and Phy. Ed. are not optional! Students need to be making the effort to show up. Parents, we appreciate all your help in getting your child online during the specialist times. If you do not know when specialist times are for your child, please contact the classroom teacher. If you can't make the times, please have your child go to their classroom teacher's google classroom--click on the classwork tab, scroll down to Art, Music, P.E. or under the "all topics" section click the specials interested in and watch the videos or virtual classes your child missed.
Hope to see everyone soon!

What’s Happening in Guidance?
In November we are focusing on friendships, teamwork and problem solving! Working together through communication in order to build a stronger school community.
Students will also be provided with the resources needed to solve problems that may arise throughout the day whether in the classroom, at recess, or even at home. Some helpful resources include learning the steps to solving a problem, how to appropriately use “I Messages”, and different ways to problem solve. Ask your child about some of the ways they can use to try to solve a problem they might face.
Here’s a fun video shared with students’ to see how Ormie the Pig tries to solve a problem he has.
